Happy 20th Birthday, Hubble!

Tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of the deployment of the Hubble Telescope into Low Earth Orbit. How cool is that, that it's been around for 20 years and it's still producing amazing images, like the one below.

I wonder what the next thing will be that captures the public's attention like Hubble has.

Here's a neat video with some images and a tiny bit about the history of Hubble: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8638263.stm

Peachberry Jasmine Sutra Green Tea from Teavana

Doesn't this tea sound delicious?

"Sipping this fragrant, fruit-filled blend delivers many smiles because of the tantalizing combination of strawberries and peaches intermingling with the sweet perfume of Jasmine blossoms. Immerse yourself in this flavorful delight! "

Available from Teavana here! I've gotten several teas from them, and they're all very good. I need to finish off some of my stash before ordering some new ones. :) The MateVana is one of my favorites, which was originally sent to me by the lovely Dee.

Rowling: The Fringe Benefits of Failure, and the Importance of Imagination

Like my friend Yisong suggests, I should come back and read this Harvard graduation speech given by Harry Potter author JK Rowling every so often. I need to remind myself to stop being so scared of everything.

HH Spring Wants

I guess all the spring 2010 stuff is coming out now, and even though spring colors usually aren't my thing, I'm really loving all the khaki I've been seeing.

I want this trench coat:

This swimsuit (ignore the ugly grimacing model):

and well I guess that's it. :)
